Could Golden Retrievers be The Worlds Most Perfect Dog?

Golden retrievers might very well be the perfect dogs. It is considered a medium sized breed and is between 21-24 inches tall and can weigh between 60-75 lbs. They come in various shades of golden or cream and can have a straight or moderately wavy coat. Golds are not too big to hop in the back or your car or share the couch and not too small to get hurt easily.

Golden retrievers were breed as hunting dogs to retrieve shot birds such as duck which is why they have a soft bite, webbed feet, and instinctively love water. The goal was to make a dog that can sit and relax next to you all day long while you wait on the duck and then go out into the water and retrieve it without chewing it up. These traits produce a dog that will lay around the house until it is time to go play, won‘t destroy everything he gets his mouth on, is easy to get into the tub, and is great for playing fetch with.
